Refund & Cancellation Policy

At EdgeTech Robotics, we deal with specialized electronics, embedded systems, and development hardware. Because of the nature of these products, our refund and cancellation policy is designed to be transparent, fair, and protective for both customers and our business.

Order Cancellation by Customer

 Standard Orders

  • Orders can be cancelled only before shipment
  • A 5% cancellation fee will be applied to cover payment gateway charges
  • This amount will be deducted from your refund

 Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled

Pre-Order Items

  • Cancellation within 4 weeks of placing the order5% fee applies
  • Cancellation after 4 weeksFull refund (no deduction)

Order Cancellation by EdgeTech Robotics

If EdgeTech Robotics cancels your order for any reason:

  • You will receive a 100% full refund
  • No cancellation charges will be applied

Refund Options

  • Refunds are processed with a 5% deduction (payment gateway fees)
  • OR you can choose:
    • 💰 Store Credit / Gift Card (No deduction)
    • 🔁 Exchange for another product

 Choosing store credit helps you retain the full value


Warranty & Defective Products

  • All products come with a 10-day functional warranty (unless stated otherwise)
  • For defective items:
    • Email us within this period with:
      • Order ID
      • Issue description
      • Photos/videos

Damaged or Missing Items

  • Must be reported within 24 hours of delivery
  • Include clear photos/videos as proof

For local pickup, please verify items before leaving


Replacement Process

  • After verification:
    • Replacement is processed within 10 days (subject to OEM approval)
    • If out of stock → replacement will be shipped when available

Shipping Charges

  • For defective product inspection:
    • Customer initially bears shipping
    • If defect is confirmed → replacement shipped free of cost
    • If no defect → customer bears return shipping

Non-Eligible Cases (No Warranty / Refund)

Warranty & refunds will NOT apply if:

  • Product is physically damaged due to misuse
  • Static discharge, burning, or electrical damage
  • Product has been soldered, modified, or altered
  • Missing or tampered EdgeTech hologram/seal
  • Product not purchased from EdgeTech Robotics

Non-Returnable Products

The following items are final sale:

  • Batteries
  • Power adapters
  • Soldering equipment

Exceptions only for shipping damage


Bulk / Restricted Quantity Orders

If multiple orders are placed using:

  • Same email / phone / GST

…to bypass quantity limits:

  • Extra units will be automatically cancelled
  • Refund will be issued with 5% deduction
  • OR full value as store credit

Refund Processing Time

  • Refund initiation: Within 2 working days
  • Completion: 7–10 business days

Refunds are processed via your original payment method


 Important Notes

  • Orders can only be cancelled before fulfillment/shipping
  • After delivery, only warranty claims are applicable
  • Incomplete or unclear defect claims may be rejected

Final Decision

EdgeTech Robotics reserves the right to make the final decision on all:

  • Refund requests
  • Replacement claims
  • Warranty validations
